Designed by Peter Spellman, this is a great example of what you can do with a 640sf ADU. To many, this sounds like a small house. But in this space is a comfortable living/dining/kitchen, separate office, bedroom and bathroom. What makes it all work is the garage door that opens up one whole side of the house to a huge deck and hot tub. This house features radiant heating in the slab, 1″ exterior foam insulation, local redwood soffits and decks, Insteon smart wiring, and all LED lighting.
